What to bring on a road trip?

1. Lots of mix CD's! Have a different genre of music for each CD, so you can easily put a CD in that you're in the mood for!
2. MP3 Player! Just incase you don't want to listen to what's on the radio, you'll want to have your iPod! Also if you want to take a nap, you won't be woken up as easily with headphones in!
3. Snacks!!! Bring plenty of snacks... salty, sweet, and healthy food! Eliminate the amount of stops you have to take this way. You can keep all your snacks in a bag or a cooler at your feet or at arms reach!
4. Water! You'll want to have some bottles of water for when you get thirsty!
5. A good book! It's always good to have a book to read to pass some time!
6. Pillows, blankets, comfy clothes! If everyone in the car wants the AC on, and you get too cold.. you will want a blanket! Also, wear something comfortable!!!
7. Camera! Keep your camera handy in case you see something that you want to take a picture of from the window!
8. GPS! If you don't trust your own sense of direction then you should definitely invest in a GPS. If you are traveling outside of America you can buy chips to put in your GPS so that it works in other countries. One of the best things about a GPS is that it can look up the nearest frozen yogurt locations and tell you how long it takes to get there in case you have a sudden craving.
9. Maps! Even if you have a GPS it can be helpful to bring along a map to help you see the big picture. Also, not every destination shows up the GPS so you need to have a back up plan for those occasions when the GPS is being stubborn.
10. Friends! In case you haven't already heard, Two is better than one!
We were somewhat prepared for a comfy road trip!! San Fran was freezing!!
